3rg Directors and Consultants bring together a diverse range of expertise built from extensive operational experience of service with the UK Special Forces, Intelligence Services and also from experience of conducting high-level security services within the public domain.

3rg’s personnel have provided security services for a vast range of organisations and individuals including – CEO’s and Executives of Multi-national companies, high-net worth individuals and their families, Celebrities from the Film and Music World, Personnel working in High-Risk Environments and Government Agency Employees.

  • Ray Quarrie
    Ray Quarrie Director of Training

    Ray is a founding Director of 3rg and has been instrumental in the development and delivery of 3rg’s portfolio of security based training courses. A former Royal Marine who served 10 years with the Special Boat Service, Ray has worked in the private security sector in various roles including those of security consultancy, executive protection and maritime security. His work in maritime security has included: an advisory role in the development of a maritime security industry Standard as part of the UK’s Security in Complex Environments Group (SCEG) and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to City & Guilds for the development of the new 8269 Maritime Security Operative course.

  • Richard Mann
    Richard Mann Director of Operations

    Richard is also a founding Director of 3rg and oversees the development and delivery of security consultancy and operational services, ensuring delivery is to the highest standard. Richard is a former Royal Marine who served 10 years with the Special Boat Service and has extensive experience of working within the private security sector. This work has included: design of security protocols for UK Government officials and media personnel working in hostile environments; discreet close protection of senior executives; risk mitigation advice to multi-national companies and advisory roles in maritime security procedures and risk management measures.

  • Billy Warren
    Billy Warren Information Security Manager

    Billy has been working with 3rg for a number of years. Having worked in leading FTSE 100 IT companies , public sector, right the way through to medium & small business he has amassed a wealth of expertise in the IT arena. Billy has many leading industry certifications including CompTIA, Microsoft, EC Council and Cisco and has worked right across the IT spectrum from Desktop/Server to Network and then latterly in Information Security. As a former Lead IA Security Practitioner and a Certified Ethical Hacker he knows all to well the value of secure IT systems. Billy maintains all 3rg IT systems and also provides specialist IT security knowledge for 3rg clients that require bespoke security technology needs.

  • Dayna Manners
    Dayna Manners Accounts Manager

    Dayna has been our accounts manager since September 2012. Having worked in the public sector for 10yrs, she has also worked in private establishments building a wealth of knowledge and experience which she brings to 3rg. Dayna also has vast management experience working within the hotel and retail industries. She is a qualified Accountant and also holds qualifications in Business Administration, Customer Service, Supervision and Internal Assessor. As a former Enforcement Officer & Customer Service Officer Dayna is able to ensure improvements are constantly made and the 3rg customer experience is kept to a high standard. Responsible for the companies’ accounts and finances she is incredibly thorough ensuring accuracy is paramount.

  • Morris Abley
    Morris Abley Chief Medical Advisor & Trainer

    Mo is an experienced, highly trained Medical Instructor and Operator who has served within the Armed Forces which has enabled him to gain extensive medical knowledge and operational experience. His commercial experience includes working as a Resuscitation Training Officer at number of Dorset Hospitals and head medical trainer for the RNLI. As well as training roles, Mo has provided operational medical support for Customs and Excise, Dorset Police and the Civil Nuclear Constabulary  – both on land and within the maritime environment.

  • Ben Magor
    Ben Magor Senior Operator & Instructor

    A former Royal Marine Commando who has successfully transitioned to the security industry, with a wide range of experience in Close Protection and Maritime Security. Ben has vast experience working as a Team leader and Security Manager on board vessels and brings his knowledge and experience into the courses he delivers. Fully qualified evasive driving, civilian armoured vehicle and cross country driving instructor. Ben provides 3rg’s driver training during CP courses, with route planning, vehicle searching, defensive driving and contact drills.
